Nicholas Carlisle experienced firsthand the reality of school bullying when he was a teenager in London. He is committed to creating schools that lives by values of respect and compassion. Nicholas graduated from Oxford University, practiced as a barrister in the High Court in London and served as chairman of the nonprofit section of Amnesty International in Britain. He practiced in California as a child and family psychotherapist and researched with Professor Eric Rofes the effects of school bullying, published in 2007 in the Journal of Traumatology. Nicholas gave a TEDx Talk on bullying in 2015 and was recognized by Toms as a Game Changer. He is a seasoned conference speaker, expert witness and commentator on school bullying for television and radio stations across the world.
