James Craig is assigned to the cyber squad in the Las Vegas division of the FBI. He began his career as a special agent in 2008. In 2009, he began investigating a financial institution's reported loss of several hundred thousand dollars via a computer hacking scheme. He identified the cause of the hacking scheme: the notorious Zeus malware. He also discovered the case was bigger than anyone had realized. A number of other victims came forward with fraud losses reaching tens of millions of dollars. He received the FBI Director's Award and the U.S. Attorney General Award for distinguished service.
